WELCOME TO TEQSE MUYU PAQO YACHAY WASI

OUR GLOBAL PAQO SCHOOL!

GPS was founded January 17, 2021 by Elizabeth B Jenkins & GPS faculty Don Martin Q’espi Machaca, Don Lorenzo Ccapa Apaza, Don Humberto Sonqo Q’espi, Don Guillermo Sonqo Apaza, and Doña Marcosa Flores Pauqar of Charqapata , Doña Zenobia Cruz Condori of Che’kas Pampa, Don Francisco, Don Juan, and Don Ricardo Apaza Flores, Doña Agustina Ccapa Chambi , and Doña Monica Q’espi Flores of Kolpa Kuchu, and Doña Rosita Apaza Flores of Qocha Moqo. All our faculty, save Zenobia of Ausangate, hail from the heart of the Q’ero Nation, known as Hatun Q’ero, designated a Cultural Patrimony in 2011 and known as “the last Inka Village in Peru”.

The Global Paqo school is extraordinary in that we offer the ch’uya or ‘pure’ Q’ero wisdom, as dictated and revealed to us by the afore-named Masters, through weekly two hour sessions of direct simultaneous Quechua to English translation. Our school offers an immersive experience in the Andean Worldview, a challenge to apprehend and translate, not only into English, but into a Western cultural framework. Our director, Elizabeth Jenkins, has over 35 years of experience, and continues to refine the framework—the labor of a lifetime. Our translator, Fredy Conde Huallpa, was born and raised in Rosas Pata Community of Lares and trained by his Grandfather, an Altomisayoq. While Lares is not part of the Q’ero Community, the worldview is highly similar and provides Fredy with an excellent background from which to formulate accurate translation for our Global Paqo School Faculty.  The unique Quechua of the Q’ero Nation is beautiful and eloquent, revealing a culture of gentility, high courtesy and deep reverence for the supreme beauty and power of Mother Nature

We welcome students from all backgrounds and previous trainings in the Andean Path and/or any other spiritual tradition.  While this knowledge may be different from what you have previously learned as “Q’ero, or Inka “Shamanism” we can guarantee that we provide authentic, culturally-based, oral tradition teachings directly from the mouths of the Masters themselves. Any and all previous teachings possess intrinsic and undisputed value, as those teachings have led you here, to this very moment.  Our wise, patient, humble, and talented Q’ero Apu Paqos and Ñust’a Paqos guide us in every step of our training and are always available for any questions you may have. As GPS serves many Paqos coming from diverse training backgrounds, we have created a more in-depth document to provide further elucidation, available upon request.

The goal and vision of our Global Paqo School is the re-sacralizing of our human relationship to Nature. Together and across the planet, with our twelve Q’ero Faculty, we step into a warm science, an embodied experience that all Nature is alive and aware, with us as part and parcel of a glorious world of living energies. The Q’ero teach us to live a modern quantum physics truth, forming direct, personal and intimate relationships of sacred exchange with the very essence of Mother Nature. We are taught how to bathe in her healing nectars to become whole, full human beings, capable to communicate directly with Nature and maintain a sacred harmony of gratitude. In short, the Global Paqo School trains us to become Human Bridges to Nature and as such, world change agents. By directly living a challenge to the objectification of Nature, the Feminine, and Indigenous Knowledge systems, we re-create our world in warm collaboration with Nature. In the words of our Q’ero Elder Don Martin, “We are not opening a new school, we are re-opening the Ancient School of Pachamama”.

Our dedication to confront Cultural Appropriation is witnessed by our direct employment of and collaboration with our Indigenous Masters of Q’ero and Andean knowledge. Further, Wiraqocha Foundation provides transparency in our financial records, and a history of non-invasive support to the Q’ero Nation over the past 25 years.
